My doctor switched me from breztri to trelegy. I'm not doing as well. It's been 3 days. I'm also using nebulizer with albuterol every 12 hours. Doctor is closed for 4 days. Should I stop albuterol?

At your appointment when your meds were changed, did the nurse or doctor ask you about your current medications? Was the Albuterol on that list. Was this the same doctor that prescribed Albuterol in the first place? With that and if he/she was aware of the meds you on,
did that doctor mention at all in your that appointment to stop using the Albuterol? If not, yes maybe he / she did not catch that, but that would be rare I would hope. When you filled the prescription did the pharmacy mention anything about taking these two meds together being a negative thing? Most pharmacies now, at least the National ones are set up to catch
interaction issues. Again nothing is perfect so??? Have you taken the time to read the insert of Directions, Interactions or time needed to get the Trelegy in to your system? If you did not and are not able to read all that small print, they do have a website that you can read it on here is a link for that. www.trelegy.com . If I recall properly, but please check it out for yourself to make sure is that Trelegy when first starting to take it can cause some havic for a short period of time, making you feel as if it is making you worse or not working. I believe you will find that in the pamphlet or on the website.
I would like you to know that I too have COPD and if it helps this is MY med list even though we are all different in some ways, we are the same in others.
Trelegy, 250mg Zithromax (z-pack) one a day, Albuterol for nebulizer taken as needed up to 4 times a day. Isotonic 0.9% Sodium Chloride for nebulizer up to 6 times aday, can take it separately or mixed with the Albuterol. Finally an emergency inhaler of Albuterol as needed for sudden lost of breath/troulbe breathing.
Hope some of this long winded stuff was helpful!
