Hi
You have certainly come to the right place as, here on our site, we are all about all things COPD and COPD related. Typically, the best source of information 'should' be one's own private medical doctor (PMD), Perhaps you could schedule another appointment (with the doctor), to discuss more about your particular level of disease. Do you think that might be of benefit?
In the meantime, we actually have a wealth of information published, right here on this site. If there is anything we can help you with, please let me or any other moderator / team member know.
Wishing you well,

As it turns out, the 'air physio', you inquired about is a well known device that belongs to the family of adjuncts known as PEP (positive expiratory pressure) therapy. Their designs can vary somewhat from device to device but, they are all engineered to assist patients in the mobilization of secretions and mucus.
I do hope you find the information is helpful in practical way.
Again, nice to 'see' you here again.

Hi I have COPD trying to get used to the fact is not easy I have my ventolin puffer recently Imy Dr changed my meds from ultibro breath device to a new one called Trimbow puffer 2 puffs twice a day ,I'm not sure if it makes much difference ,I'm not sure if I'm allergic to pollens or other spring time problems but iv recently been having more coughing episodes at night where I'm having trouble clearing my throat from phlem ,so I invested in a PEP type item called Air Phisio from local chemist iv used it a few times seems to help a bit I think so far ,I'm not sure if I'm suppose to use it whilst I'm having a coughing episode trying to clear throat to help clear lungs or just use it once or twice during my day.I would really appreciate any info if possible thanks .
