Are there any in-person COPD support groups I can go to?

Sue99sstuff - depending on where you live there may be some support groups to attend. There are a few ways to find one. You could call your local hospital or American Lung Association and ask the if they know. You could also do an internet search for "COPD support group with your zip code" or you could try a search for "Better Breathers club".

You may also want to speak to your doctor about a pulmonary rehab program. That can be the best of both worlds. While not a typical "support" group, it does put you in contact with others that have COPD. At the same time, the rehab is very beneficial and something I highly recommend.
