  1. Hi. Welcome to our community, Tom! You've definitely come to the right place—we're all about everything COPD here. I can imagine how frustrating it must be to deal with both heavy breathing and constant nasal congestion. It's great to hear you have an appointment with an ENT on the 20th, as they can help determine whether these symptoms are connected to COPD or something else, like allergies. There are indeed studies linking nasal issues with COPD, as the nasal passages and bronchial tubes are part of the same airway (you can check out this article for more info: https://copd.net/living/stuffy-noses). In the meantime, you're in good company, and we're here to support you through it. What do you think? John. community moderator.

    1. Hi . Welcome to the community! I am glad to hear you'll be seeing your doctor soon. Constant nasal congestion is common for people with COPD, but our congestion might also be due to allergies, a virus or a bacteria infection. So, it's good to get checked out. Have you found the nasal spray helpful? Wishing you the best. - Lori (Team Member)
