Products to use that are oil-free for face as well as body when you are on oxygen.

I’m almost embarrassed. I have been told I need to use oxygen now. But you can’t use anything with oil in it on your face or body. Well, that is so daunting. Some of the ingredient lists that I see are so scientific that I don’t have a clue what they mean. How do we girls even know what face makeup or eye makeup to use, let alone what to shower with. I am hoping some of you can give me some pointers.

  1. Hi, ! To tell you the truth I don't wear makeup that often, only on special occasions but I do use lotions. I have never had any problems with any makeup or lotion that I have used over the last 13+ years. The only thing I am sure to avoid is anything with petroleum like Vaseline. I use essential oils all of the time on my skin. I hope this helps.

    1. Never heard of not using oil products before. Been on full time O2 now for 2yrs and didn't even think about it, but I don't wear make-up either. Lotion, I use nut oil based products for my skin is and has been so dry, tested many until I found the one that works the best. I would think that as long as there is no fire near you, you should be ok. As for what I shower with, well that I had to switch do to smell sensitivity, dry skin and then went through chemo and radiation. Anyway I found the best product for my use is Baby Wash. Yes, what is used on those cute grandbabies. Gentle, cleans and has a moisturizing effect, no strong harsh smell. Figuring if it can glean a babies bottom, then surely it can clean mine LOL.. works great! I do use hair conditioner too. Hope you able to find your answer!
