Are these air physio machines anything like a B-bap machine.

Great question, ragtagmonster. No, an air physio is not like bipap. An air physio is a brand name for a type of device like an acapella (https://copd.net/clinical/flutter-valves-acapellas) or flutter valve device. These are devices that you inhale into, and when you do they cause vibrations to reverberate through your airways, and this can help knock loose secretions so you can more easily cough them up and clear your airways and breathe easier. Attached above is a link to an article about acapellas. You can check it out for more information on this if you want. Does this help? John. Community Moderator. copd.net
