Hi Donna123, thank you for reaching out! In doing a quick google search, I believe you may be referring to the Personal Independence Payment in the UK. Being based in the US, I am not personally familiar with this program. I do know that in the US, people who have not reached retirement age have applied and been granted disability for COPD. I believe this is the equivalent program to PIP, however, each country has their own laws and rules about what qualifies for this sort of program.
