Our NOTIFICATIONS PAGE At COPD.net Needs COLOUR to Let You KNOW, If READ or NOT

RED for UNREAD Notifications
GREEN for READ Notifications

  1. thanks for this suggestion. We will definitely take it back to our team! All the best, Sam S. (COPD.net, team member).

    1. ,
When you log in and see a blue dot at the lower right of your login circle, that means you have notifications to see. The ones that are already read have a white background. The ones that are not read, have a blue background. So, they are already color coded. Are you referring to something else?

      1. The BLACK BACKGROUND is EASIER on My 👀 EYES, and CLEARER to READ for Me thou.

      2. Hi again, hite, and thanks for explaining this further. You should use the settings that are best, and most comfortable, for your own personal level of vision. It is good that you are able to recognize this. Do what is best for yourself.
        Wishing you well,
        Leon (site moderator COPD.net)

    2. When I try to follow and or respond to topic threads I get lost and confused so it is taking me a moment to understand this format...

      1. This is WHY I SUPPORT a Change.
On The WHITE BACKGROUND, there’s a DIFFERENCE in COLOUR for UNREAD NOTIFICATIONS, the BACKGROUND is a PALE BABY BLUE, when READ, It TURNS BACK to the WHITE BACKGROUND.
But, when USING the 👁ACCESSIBILITY OPTION to CHANGE the BACKGROUND to BLACK , the ONLY thing You SEE is the BLUE🔵DOT By Your PHOTO.

      2. Hi - I don't believe this is up for discussion. This is just the way the site platform works. The accessibility options are so that folks can choose the appearance which works best for them individually. Those are the choices. However, the color coding appears to work best with a white background and black lettering. When someone chooses another option, they may be giving up some of the built-in features. That is the way it works. I do hope this makes it a bit clearer for you.
        Wishing you well,
        Leon (site moderator COPD.net)
