Orkney

Hi. I'm 72 and was diagnosed with Emphysema about 10 years ago. It has gotten a lot worse over that time. I also have Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, the itchy kind, and Colitis. We moved from Cambridge UK up to Orkney in Scotland about 6 years ago. The Drs are good but for treatment or consultants I have to fly to Aberdeen or Glasgow! What a trek. But I love living here away from the stress of modern life. It is very beautiful and I think I am lucky to have this peace in our horrible world... Yes I'm getting worse. It's inevitable so I'll accept what I can't change. I have a partner but no children which I am fine with . Peace and quiet. Love my two dogs but when they go don't think I can handle anymore. Maybe foster oldies . So don't let your time be wasted Do what You want!!
