Looking for other people who suffer from COPD

Young and dumb, started smoking in the 70s +marijuana. Almost 58 years old, not smoking cigarettes but marijuana for my pain. Not a constant use, but I feel it helps bring up (the nasties) green sputum and h er lips me breath without hacking up a lung. Sleep with a humidifier and try to stay hydrated as possible even though i pee every 2 hours. I sleep in a recliner or slanted with pillows if traveling. COPD BLOWS. Need to buy stock in tissues (gag rags). Looking for other suffers to be friends.

  1. Obviously you don't want to smoke cannabis. I lived in a state and got my medical license which allowed us to purchase bud at a lower price.
I went online and learned you can make a tincture. Just do a search for "tincture" or "Green Dragon."

It's a much safer way to use cannabis.
I've researched this extensively and discovered that many studies indicated cannabis has many health benefits but were either destroyed or not publicized. Because they can't patent it, how many pharmaceutical companies would want us to make a helpful med from an ordinary weed?

    1. thank you for sharing your experience! Just as a reminder for everyone in the thread, it is important to speak with your physician regarding medical marijuana and follow local laws for your area! 2. This is what has been working for me. The other prescription have not work except for one

    1. I am with you on the weed. It really does bring up the mucus. Although I am sure that's not an acceptable plan with the medical community 😂. In the morning especially works well.
My meds all work great and clearly weed smoking can't be helping any of our breathing stories and I get the same story to eat gummys or something else with no smoke.
      It's legal in NM...

  3. @It's legal in Missouri! I have noted this with my lung specialist in Branson, he took notes. Yes it makes me cough, but the over abundance of green nasties, bubbly phlegm to gag ya...all is released with the help of keeping hydrated and I can breath much better. I am sure its NOT MEDICALLY prescribed (no money to be made by pharamicial companies). I am going to be traveling soon, so I am recommend to stay under 8 thousand feet for breathing purposes.

    1. I am glad you found something that helps, . Do you think the frequent urination is because you drink so much to stay hydrated or do you suspect there are other issues? If there is something else going on, treatment might help. Have a wonderful trip and feel free to share some photos. Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)
