How well does the Zephyr pulmonx valve work?

And is it covered by insurance?

  1. Hi Honest, and thanks for your inquiry. As you may be aware, not all treatments are for all people with COPD. Individual treatment plans are designed by physicians interacting with each patient individually. However, in view of your stated concern about the endobronchial valve system, I thought you might gain some additional insight from this article on that very subject: https://copd.net/?s=valves. I do hope you find it to be helpful. Wishing you well, Leon (site moderator)

    1. Hi again, Honest - while looking over our COPD.net website, I found an article published (just today), that has a specific section about the endobronchial valve system, authored by our own Kevin Davitt.
I thought you might find it helpful to read. For your convenience, here is a link to the article: https://copd.net/living/latest-research/.
      Warm regards,
