  1. Hi. It sounds like you've been through a lot trying to get the right care. For COPD, most experts suggest regular follow-ups—ideally every 6 months once it’s stable and more often if you’re experiencing symptoms. Regular check-ups help track symptoms, manage medications, and adjust your oxygen as needed. You deserve a healthcare team that stays on top of your treatment, especially with severe COPD. If you're not getting that, perhaps you would consider finding another doctor or specialist? Wishing you all the best. John. community moderator.

    1. HI Lori, living in the UK we are suffering a shortage of Doctors due to lack of funding. Although we can get a doctor!! It can take a couple of weeks from the time you ring. And then you might end up seeing a COPD Nurse and I some times get the impression they they just don't take enough time . The last time I got given an Inhaler (Spiolto Respimat) and the side effects were a bad Headache.😎

      1. With inhalers when you first start using them they do give you headaches but you body will get use to them I have heradatarie Asma so I have been using inhaler for a long time and ever prescription is different so keep using them and if it keeps giving you headache then maybe ask if you can use a furbuilator with Albuterol maybe that will help
