HI , and thanks for your post and update. I am sorry to hear what you have been through and understand that you are home now. Generally speaking, it is a sign of progress when a patient who, during a hospitalization, required oxygen therapy, no longer needs it shortly after discharge.
Remember, based on what you've shared here, this was a significant medical issue for which you were treated. To have been admitted with bacterial pneumonia, undergone a biopsy as well as a bronchoscopy, is a serious medical intervention. Add to that your COPD diagnosis and this was a lot for one person (you!), to endure.
Please, try to be patient and kind with yourself. If you can, slow your life's pace down a bit and give yourself a chance to rest and recover. Are you scheduled for a follow-up visit with your doctor(s)?
