papadon
I would like to know what these numbers mean. Thanks

Hi papadon and thanks for your post. Sadly, we cannot provide medical advice or diagnostics over the internet (for your own safety), however your concern certainly warrants a reply. If you've been diagnosed with COPD, the FEV (forced expired volume) and gas exchange (I assume you're referring to the 'diffusing capacity' test) can be significant findings on a pulmonary function test. To get the appropriate interpretation for your results, you may want to speak with the physician who ordered the testing be done for you. Please do check back and let us know how you're doing. All the best, Leon (site moderator)

Hi papadon, As Leon stated we cannot give you advice or medical information. This is a question between you and your doctor, however, he is likely to say, forget the numbers and only worry about how I feel.
