For the folks who have already taken the Vaccine how do you feel about taking a 4th dose?

Hi resurrected, and thanks for your post - you've posed an excellent question. I, for one, am all for it. I had both vaccinations (Pfizer), as recommended and then, six months later had the 3rd injection (Pfizer) booster.
After reading all that was available to read on the 4th dose and, discussing it with my physician, I am ready to go. I plan to make the appointment (as does my wife), within the next two weeks.
What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks for answering - I made up my mind and took the shot on Friday afternoon today.

Hi again, resurrected, and thanks for following up with us here. From my own personal perspective, you made the right decision. Please do check back and let us know how you've done following the injection earlier today.
Wishing you well,

I am not a frequent poster, but I have some thoughts on this topic to share.
I have received the first three Pfizer shots. Then, in early August, I was diagnosed with COVID. I had it for a couple of weeks and then tested negative. In late September, once again, I was diagnosed with COVID, which turned into double pneumonia.
In October, I was having a good deal of trouble "getting over." pneumonia, so I sought the advice of a pulmonologist, who ran tests and diagnosed me with COPD stage one. Since I've never smoked or been around industrial or agricultural pollutants, the doctor attributed my COPD to the damage down by weeks of COVID.
Some people say that getting the shots protect a person from COVID. That wasn't my experience. They also say that taking the vaccine protects you from severe COVID. That was not my experience. Nevertheless, I'm going to take the fourth shot, mainly because my RN wife would have more than a few things to say if I refused!.
I don't know what to think about these vaccines. Yet, other than complete prolonged isolation, vaccination seems to be the best thing to try when accompanied by handwashing, masking, and keeping a distance from others.
My thought is to live one day at a time and seek to enjoy family and friends, make every attempt to glorify God in all that you do, and don't live in the future.

Hi again, Libby, and thanks for letting us know. From my own professional and personal perspective, I think this is the right thing to do. I'm also glad to hear that you did not make the decision by yourself but rather, spoke with your physician about it, too.
Good luck! Please do check back and let us know how this all works out for you.
All the best,
