COPD / Packing

What are some of your tips when it comes to packing with COPD?
Do you handle this in small sections - turn up your oxygen to keep going?
I need some advice.

  1. Hi . I hope you get lots of responses from the community. Are you asking about packing up a house or apartment to move or packing for travel? Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)

      1. I'm still looking for a place. As for school my daughter is starting her first year of college in a few days.

      2. How exciting for your daughter! I hope it all goes well for her and that you find someplace soon. Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)

    2. I wish I didn't have to move but the owner of the house doesn't want it any more. I have no choice. My daughter is loving into andorm in a few weeks. I will see if I can get some volunteers to help me.thank you for the advice.

      1. Hi Gail -- two thoughts for you on this. You can try calling 211, which could help provide you with packing/moving assistance in your area. You can also try contacting your local Center for Independent Living (CIL), they are a national organization that helps disabled people get the services they need to remain in their communities. If you need help finding your local center, I can look it up for you.

Hugs. Do the best you can. -Melissa, team member
