I am diagnosized with Emphyzema. I regularly suffer from belching with short breath. I also has untreatable Pylori helycoptic and when I drink shot of wine i spend days with belching and stomach etching
Can anyone advise and explain that?
Thanks

  1. Hi again, Samy, and thanks for this post. You may recall, you posted something very similar
back in April 2021, and we had a conversation about your concerns. For for your convenience, here
is a link to that conversation: https://copd.net/forums/belshed.
Based on your most recent post (above), you may want to consider not drinking the 'shot of wine',
especially if the wine is causing these symptoms (belching and stomach issues), for you.
However, the disease/organism (Helicobacter pylori), can also be responsible for the symptoms you are
experiencing. If the wine makes it worse, you'll want to give that some thought.
I would also suggest you speak about this with your physician. I also thought that you might find it helpful
to read more about this (H. pylori), which is affecting you. Towards that end, here is some information from the
    Mayo Clinic: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/h-pylori/symptoms-causes/syc-20356171.
    What do you think?

    1. Thanks Leon for your interaction
In fact I have been suffering H Pylori, it is always positive No treatment succeeded with me.
I may suspect that wine could make it active.
also, I am suspect Belching is an indirect effect of COPD since the lung push on the diaphragm and make one Roar like a lion Leon
      Thanks

    2. Hi Samy - it's my pleasure! I am sorry to hear you are struggling with this organism. Many of the symptoms of this organism (Helicobacter pylori), are the very symptoms you are describing. Although it's true some could be related to COPD, to be absolutely sure, you will want to see your physician. I realize you have said you have not been successful with treatment in the past, I would urge you to seek out a specialist who is used to dealing with this. Based on what I've read, generally speaking, this is treatable. What do you think?
