Anxiety felt abruptly

I can still feel my heart pounding at times and just uneasy in stomach like hunger pains but sick at the same time! Very weird. I think I am slowly getting better at bringing myself back down quicker and the peak isn’t lasting as long.
I have such a long way to go but will never give up and determine. How have you usually cope with it?

    I have been prescribed Xanax ER which I take everyday. It keeps me from mild to medium symptoms. Severe symptoms I have Xanax 5 mg. I have only had to take it twice.

      Can I take it without getting prescriptions?

        Please don't take such medications without advice from your doctor.

        Hi again, PrepCopd - you make a good point. We always suggest that our members not start any new medications or supplements without running it past their own physician first.

      Help!!, Suggestions needed. I can’t tolerate steroids. They make my anxiety manic…. But now I’m still have wheezing. Using neb treatments. Anything else???
