It is with great sadness to share that COPD.net advocate Liana Collet passed away in November of 2021. Liana was diagnosed with COPD in 2014 and joined our team in 2020. Liana became an advocate when she was planning a brave move from South Africa to England and chronicled her journey with us. She was a wonderful storyteller and shared the ups and the downs of her life. Her courage was on full display in every article and in each interaction with her. She was a cherished member of the COPD.net community and her articles about not just coping but truly living with COPD will continue to inspire many.
