Summer or Spring

Do you have seasons affect COPD? What season do you like best, spring or summer?

  1. I agree, spring can really be a pain in the butt. Sometimes I feel like it is a death sentence.

    1. I'm really sorry to hear that. How have you been feeling lately? Hope you've been able to cope with the changing seasons and wishing you all the best. - John M. ( Team)

  2. Hi gracesoundracer
My COPD is happiest in cooler weather, so that is probably the end of fall and into winter as well. I live in South Dakota and @believe it’s drier during that time as well.

    1. Hi again, glacesoundracer, and thanks for your post. You've asked an excellent question here and, I am hopeful others in the community will respond with their own thoughts. I thought you might be interested, too, in looking over some of the material we have published over the years, right here on, which focuses on your inquiry. For your convenience, here is a link to several of them:
Of course, your question is on top of the listings!

      1. Spring probably affects my COPD the most. Days of higher pollen count make it difficult to breathe. Autumn is my favorite time of year!
