Summer or Spring

Do you have seasons affect COPD? What season do you like best, spring or summer?

  1. Spring probably affects my COPD the most. Days of higher pollen count make it difficult to breathe. Autumn is my favorite time of year!

    1. Hi again, glacesoundracer, and thanks for your post. You've asked an excellent question here and, I am hopeful others in the community will respond with their own thoughts. I thought you might be interested, too, in looking over some of the material we have published over the years, right here on COPD.net, which focuses on your inquiry. For your convenience, here is a link to several of them: https://copd.net/search?s=seasons.
Of course, your question is on top of the listings!
      All the best,

      1. I agree, spring can really be a pain in the butt. Sometimes I feel like it is a death sentence.

        1. I'm really sorry to hear that. How have you been feeling lately? Hope you've been able to cope with the changing seasons and wishing you all the best. - John M. (COPD.net Team)

      2. Allergies make my worst times Spring and Fall. I am currently suffering a severe sinus infection which has now caused a flare-up with my COPD. Luckily I had a video visit already scheduled with my Pulmonologist who has gotten me meds to help get me over this mess. I live in Illinois.

        1. , uugh so sorry you are struggling with allergies right now, which caused a flare up! I am glad your Pulmonologist was able to help- I hope you feel better soon! ~Melanie (team member)
