Rib cramps

I also experience severe rib cramps I have found pickle juice to be an amazing help for these ... With a few drinks they usually subside fairly quick.. I hope this helps others that experience them they are so debilitating and exhausting

  1. Hi CM3161, and thanks for sharing the success you're having using pickle juice to help with rib cramping. I am hopeful others will read your comment and perhaps, have some ideas of their own based on your shared experience.
    Enjoy the weekend!

    1. That's funny, my husband also swears by pickle juice as a quick remedy for cramping and dehydration -- something about all the sugars and salts in the juice helping to balance your electrolytes. Of course, that was a remedy for exercise recovery, not COPD cramps, so it might not work for everyone. And it's important to note you shouldn't have too much pickle juice -- a few sips is plenty, like you said. It's so interesting for me to hear someone else talk about this! Glad it helps you. -Melissa, copd.net team

      1. Yellow Mustard work a lot faster. Plus its easier to carry mustard packets then pickle juice.

        1. Interesting! Thanks for sharing that. How did you figure that out? I guess the real question is if you would *want* to down a packet of mustard. But then again, I don't like plain yellow mustard, so that's a no for me. -Melissa, copd.net team
