Pulmonologist
I keep forgetting to ask my pulmonologist why he looks at the palms of my hands
Hi Jan, and thanks for your post. Now you have piqued my curiosity as well! As long as I have been a respiratory therapist, I don't ever recall the palms of one's hands being indicative of anything related to COPD. I do know that, for some patients, the fingers, hands, toes and feet may be observed.
Please do check back and let us know what the physician tells you. This would be very interesting to find out!
