Newly Diagnosed

Last year I was having chest pressure and shortness of breath. My doctor thought it was my heart. After several tests on my heart and not finding anything that really explained what was going on, my doc decided maybe it's my lungs. I went in last summer for lung function tests and to see a Pulmonologist. I was diagnosed last fall with COPD. I'm still trying to learn what I can about it. I'm 60 years old. I have never smoked, my husband and children don't smoke. My doctor thinks it is because growing up I was around smokers. I don't know. All I know is I have COPD now.
