Hi there! Welcome to the community. This place is such a great resource, I'm glad you found us. 😀 First, try not to worry. No matter what comes from the PFT, each person is unique in terms of how they feel and what they experience. We have people here that have had stage 4 for many years, just as an example. The key is to take good care of yourself and do the best you can to stay active, eat right and follow your medication routine. Positivity and humor are also great tools.
I want to share with you this article about GERD, since it seems relevant right now. GERD tends to come along with certain respiratory issues. People with asthma tend to struggle with it a lot, too.

You're not alone -- we are here when you have questions or even if you just want to vent and share experiences. Take it one day at a time! Let us know how your testing goes once it's finished. Thinking of you! -Melissa, copd.net team
