I think we all feel depressed sometimes, due to our circumstances and situations, but we don't have to stay there. I always feel better just from walking outside and sitting on the porch in the sunlight for a little while. Exercise also helps me quite a lot, even though I never jump at the thought of doing it, so I have to push myself a bit! If you are limited physically with what you can do, try yoga or tai chi.
