Hi there, I am hoping your feeling of being choked is easing now, I am not a Doctor or medical professional, I am a community member so I can’t give out advice like one. But I was wondering if it could be a panic attack a bad one. My reason being only from my point of view is a panic attack, they can affect you terribly if it was your chest that also felt very tight I would consider you ring for emergency services. But what makes my think of a panic attack is like me once had to try and clam down even though it is hard to do and breathe more slowly and try to take your mind of the tightness around your neck and take your blue inhaler if you have one and calm your breathing down close your eyes and continue to focus on your breathing and hopefully if it is a panic attack will subside slowly. Please let us know if you can how you are getting on but please remember this is me when I had a feeling of choking and can be different for other people.
