  2. - Welcome to the forum! We are all here to lend support and help. Ask questions and learn! For me it has been the key to getting better. The more we know about you, the more we can help. I'm in Texas. I have severe COPD and a myriad of other "issues," and the more I learn, the better things get. So tell us a little about you, and start asking and learning. I use the heck out of this forum and it works!

    1. You are welcome here!! Glad you found us, there is so much to learn but we have tried to cover everything as best we can. Please let us know if you have any specific questions or just want to talk. Looking forward to getting to know you better! -Melissa, copd.net team

      1. Ask your pulmonologist about Zephyr valves. I also have COPD & emphysema. Zephyr valves allow me to go without supplemental oxygen for most of the day. I went from 24 hours using oxygen to about 10 hour. I use it at night when sleeping and when I take my morning walk.

        1. Hi jewelln, and thanks for joining in the conversation here. We appreciate you sharing your own personal experience managing this disease following the endobronchial valve procedure. It's reassuring and gratifying to hear how much of an improvement this procedure provided for you.
          Keep up the good work!
