Has anyone else’s experienced muscle atrophy?
Following my last flare up I have experienced heaviness and weakness in my legs. Muscle contracting and now muscle loss. Is this typical with COPD?
Hi. Thank you for your post. And welcome to our COPD community. I do hope other community members will chime in here to share their own experiences with COPD and muscle atrophy. In the meantime, I do have something to say. Muscle atrophy is a condition that can be caused by a variety of factors, with COPD being one of them. With your personal situation, it may be best to discuss this with your doctor -- who knows you best and should be able to determine the cause and the best treatment options for you.
