Gas pressure with COPD

Does anyone have had gas pressure with COPD. Any suggestions that can help relieve it?

  1. Hi and thanks for your post and question - it's a good one! While I am hopeful others in the community will chime in and share their own personal anecdotal experiences with you, I have something to contribute as well.
In fact, we are aware of the 'gas issues' that may be associated with COPD. It is most commonly referred to as bloating. Would you say that is what you are feeling?
If so, we have a good number of articles that focus on COPD and bloating. I thought you might gain some additional insight from this article (for starters), which speaks to this very concern: https://copd.net/living/bloat-effects.
If, after reading this, you would still like to read more about bloating, please let me (or any other moderator/team member), know. We will be happy to share additional material with you.
    Wishing you well,

    1. Hi
I can relate. Have you discussed this with your doctor? He/she would be the one to recommend treatments, etc. Have you been diagnosed with GERD/reflux?
Here are a couple of links that you might find helpful. Diet and more can make a difference.
