Hi Weeann, and thanks for your comment and question. I am hopeful others in the community will chime in and share their experiences if they have used any of these medications (prednisolone, uniphyllin, and montelukast). I also have something to contribute.
Just as COPD affects all patients differently, the same can be said of the efficacy of any medication. Some folks have great success using medications while still others, may not do well using the very same medications. In cases like those (where patients do not respond well to a medication), the prescribing physician can usually find an alternative for the patient.
Do you think this is what is happening in your case? Have you had an opportunity to discuss this with your prescribing physician?
