While there is no "one size fits all" diet for COPD, there are certain diets that help with living with COPD. But there are many factors involved. Your health in general, your body type, are you overweight or underweight, food allergies, medications, exercise levels, etc. It is best to contact your medical care provider and have them recommend a nutritionist to help you with a specific diet for you. Some things are just the same. Healthy lean protein, fruits and vegetables, healthy grains and fiber, etc. For me having a hiatal hernia along with COPD, my diet is a bit more specific to my health. There are articles available on this site as well as on the internet about diets for people living with COPD. Just use the search function at the top of the page or one of the awesome moderators will point you in the right direction. Good Luck and God Bless!
