CT scan shows mild paraseptal emphysema - Dr said to forget about it

Hi,

I'm 34M ex heavy smoker, quitted 4 years ago.

My GP ordered a CT scan following few months of général fatigue, cough in the morning, shortness of breath.

CT shows mild paraseptal emphysema on both side. Today I went to the pneumologue, did a Spyro test who returned normal and the doctor said to totally forget about the emphysema that this is not COPD and I shouldn't follow up on this matter.

Should I get a second opinion or should I really forget about it ?

Thanks

You may be aware we cannot provide medical advice or diagnostics over the internet (for your own safety), but
your concern certainly warrants a reply.
It can be challenging when two different doctors provide conflicting suggestions (using the same diagnostic study)
    to the patient.
Naturally, the decision is yours but, in the absence of a definitive diagnosis, at your young age it would seem prudent
to seek out a second opinion from a qualified physician who can provide you with an accurate and proper assessment.
    What do you think?
