CT Scan
I had a follow up CT scan on December 12th. I got a call from my pulmonologist's office yesterday with the results. I was told, and I quote, " There was nothing of any concern in your scan." I had a nodule last March that was 19mm and had shrunk to 9mm in June. This follow-up CT scan shows nothing. So, I am in the clear for now. I won't get another scan for a year and have a follow-up doctor visit in April. I will continue my routines and do my best to not have any flare ups in the meantime. It is always nice to get some good news for a change. Everyone have a great Christmas and a Wonderful New Years! Stay Safe, stay warm, and God Bless!

I know how you feel, having been in similar circumstances with diagnostic results the last few years.
Enjoy them (the results!). These types of results can sometimes be elusive, especially as we wait and the months (and sometimes years), go by.
I can actually imagine your joy at hearing this - the follow-up CT scan shows NOTHING!!
Keep doing what you're doing, enjoy everything you can as time moves ahead. With the holidays in our immediate future - I wish you the very same. Enjoy the holiday season with your family and friends!

! My doctor monitors some nodules that I have. I think it is more common for people with COPD. I know quite a few friends who have the same. It's still a relief though when you hear no changes or shrinking. I'm so happy for you! Best, Jackie (Moderator)
