Coping

I haven’t spoken on this site in a very long time. I am 62 and stage 4 COPD. Diagnosed 11 years ago. My lung function is 30 percent and on oxygen only when active. I also battled breast cancer twice, once in 2015 and in other breast at end of 2017. Had both mastectomies. I know the good lord is always by my side and I always felt peace. I put myself in his hands. I am always exhausted even tho I don’t do anything, but I think that’s from the anti-hormones I have been on since 2015. My hormones are what caused my cancer. Partly why I’m so forgetful as well🤣. I pray for each and everyone of you and if you ever want to talk my e-mail is michelle4877@gmail.com

    1. Hi I am on here as my father is suffering with COPD. I am sorry to hear of your health struggles, but can feel from your message you are one strong lady! Never give up, is what I tell my father as each day is a blessing and after a bad day a good day will follow.

      1. Hi again, Kindlelondon, and thanks for lending your support here. We appreciate it. I know we have been talking on another forum right here on our COPD.net platform. For ease of reference, here is a link to that conversation: https://copd.net/forums/father-with-copd#reply-112739.
Your dad is indeed fortunate to have such a compassionate and loving daughter such as you are.
If there is anything we can do to assist you, please let me or any other moderator / team member know.
        Warm regards,
