COPD APPETITE CHANGES

My wife has terrible trouble thinking of foods she can eat.
Fewer all the time. She is 5 foot 6 inches. Only 97 lbs now. She still cant quit smoking!

  1. Hi again, , and thanks for your post and, sharing your concern for your wife. I remember we have had several conversations about the challenges you are facing (with your wife), regarding taking a diagnostic test, albuterol treatments, and getting in to the hospital for the procedure.
Based on this latest post, it sounds like your wife (and you!) are facing yet another challenge - this one regarding the selection of foods she can eat. I wonder - perhaps you (and she) could speak with a nutritionist. Often times, physician offices are connected with allied health professionals (like nutritionists), to help guide patients through a number of concerns that may be connected to COPD. Do you think this would help her?
You also mentioned that she continues to smoke and doesn't seem to be able to quit smoking. If this is something that (you feel), she cannot do on her own. you may want to speak with her about talking with your doctor or, another professional, who can assist her with this (quitting smoking).
    What do you think?
