Living with chronic headaches

I'm been having migraines for more than 3 months NON-STOP now. I don't even know if im gona see another day. I've been having these headaches every day in the morning it worsens and at night. I've been taking menograine for 3 months but it does not help cause when i drink it it only lightens the pain but it gets worse after a few hours again every single day. I'ved been booked to see a Radiologist but that's only in June and in the meantime i must live with the pain every single day. Im getting now sharp pains in my eyes also that I've never had and that is another thing to worry about. PLEASE HELP!!!

  1. Hi Magret, and thanks for your post. I am so sorry to hear about these (migraine) headaches you are enduring. Three months is considered to be a lengthy time to be affected by the level of pain which you have shared with us here. Three months is much too long without some type of medical intervention
You may want to bring this to the attention of your own personal physician. You may also want to find a pain management specialist. If this is starting to affect your eyes - that can be indicative of any number of medical conditions.
Do you also have a COPD diagnosis in addition to the pain from the constant headache?
    What do you think?

    1. - It is going to be quite difficult to assist you with so little information. Where are you? What country are you in and what health coverage do you have? Do you have COPD or Asthma or another respiratory condition, or high blood pressure or heart issues, etc.? This kind of issue can have a myriad of different causes, most of which would be quite serious. I would not wait if I were you. June? Heck, the whole world could blow up by then. You may well have a serious medical problem, and waiting is very likely to be dangerous or even fatal. I advise you to seek real medical help immediately and not wait another day. I suffered with these in my youth due to head/neck injuries. It took years of physical therapy to strengthen my back and neck muscles enough to relieve it, but once gone it never came back, until I was injured again. But any kind of serious headache is a red flag indicator of a need for immediate medical help. Please let us know how it goes. Don't take some idiot uncaring doctor's word. Go find another one, and quickly. No real doctor would take a chance on letting this get worse. It could easily be life-threatening.

      1. The local doctors say they cant help me and because i dont have medical aid you dont get alot of help at local clinics and also the doctors at the local clinics. They just give you pain tablets. Im so worried about my future and health.

        1. , I am sorry to hear that this has been your experience with your doctors. We should all feel like we are getting the treatment we need. If you are interested, we have a sister site called https://migraine.com/ that might have more advice on what you can do for these migraines. Wishing you a peaceful day. All the best, Sam S. 2. Hi again, Magret, and thanks for your reply and further explanation. I see my colleague, , has already responded with a helpful suggestion and a link to our sister website for migraine headaches. I do hope you have an opportunity to check this out.
          Wishing you well,
