Newbie Dr not helping

So about 12 months ago my nephrologist checked my lungs in routine and asked if I had COPD. I was like ummm....(wtf) no. So when I visited my PCP I mentioned that comment. They gave me this blow test that is like a breathalyzer. I guess my lungs are 131 years old while I am 41. Prescribed me Symbicort and that was that.

So I started doing my own research and here I am. My PCP office being difficult to just get a referral to a pulmonologist.

I know I had my first "fit" about 2 weeks ago and it truly scared me. 3 days of feeling like drowning. And REALLY scary.

So because my PCP an idiot...what do i need to ask the pulmonologist for? What am I looking for? I am terribly lost as this all happened just before COVID...so I have been careful in quarantine for 6 months.

Can say my PCP said I had 3 year until O2....and that was it! Help please.
