Annette in Africa

I am 65 years old and was diagnosed with COPD June 2013. I think I have between 30-40% of my lungs still working.

I am however still working every day. I work for a lawyer and have a portable oxygen machine in my office. I drive my own car to work but if I am very short of breath then I use an Uber or my son brings me to work. I however have a portable oxygen cylinder that I always have with me in case I need it.

I try to do all my housework as well and only have a worker to come and do my ironing once a week.

I make sure that I eat healthy although I do enjoy a burger and chips once a week. The only exercise I get is to walk a lot at work and in my flat and I have an exercise bike.

Life is still great although I do not always feel great. There is still a lot for me to enjoy. I go to certain places with my portable oxygen and shopping as well.

I just wish I can get good advice for my skin that is so thin and dry because of all the cortisone that I sometimes get.

Bye

Annette
