tarlan - I've seen a couple of articles about possible clinical trials starting later this year based on a couple of research studies that have proved to have good results. I believe it was the University of North Carolina that originally conducted the studies. I'm sure if you do a search you'll find more information on those studies and possible clinical trials.

Hi tralan and thanks for your post. While I see Lyn has provided an excellent response to your inquiry, I thought you might find it helpful to look over this article that reviews COPD and stem cell research:https://copd.net/news/stem-cell-therapy/. Please do check back and let us know how you're doing with your search.
All the best,

Hi Tarlan, I see that your question was originally posted two years ago. I was just diagnosed with stage 2 COPD and one of the first things I did was to go looking for stem cell therapy. I found the Lung Health Institute in Tampa, FL. here is a link to their web page: https://www.thelunghealthinstitute.com
I have spoken with a counselor and am now trying to find others who have received their treatment. One treatment is $6000.00 and their two treatment regimen is $9000.00 Not inexpensive. Good luck.
