Hi Sharon and thanks for your post and, for sharing your present medical circumstances. I am sorry - it is not clear what 'a and e' is (to me). Would you be kind enough to write the words out. I understand a 'gp' is a general practitioner.
Having said that, it sounds like you have been diagnosed - is the diagnosis COPD? If so, you may want to discuss further with your physician (the 'gp'😉 more about the disease you have. Some doctors do 'wait and see' how a patient reacts to the metered dose inhaler (MDI) therapy.
Of course, the decision is up to you - whether to wait or be more insistent for an appointment with the clinic.
