  1. Hi again, - nice to see you re-engaging with the community. I recall we had several conversations with you back in February and March (of this year), when you first became a member.
Let me see if I can address your present concern. For some folks with a COPD diagnosis, coughing and mucus can be accompanying symptoms. However, since you've mentioned a change in color (of the mucus), as well as persistent coughing which has lasted several weeks, it may be time to seek out medical attention. Since the developments are recent and new, I would think that your private medical doctor (PMD), would want to see you now. Perhaps you could make a call, relate your present situation, and request an appointment.
I thought you also might gain some additional insight from these two articles which focus on this very topic
First, this one on mucus: https://copd.net/symptoms/mucus
And next, this article, which focuses on coughing: https://copd.net/living/not-just-cough
    What do you think?

    1. Hi Home girl, I would suggest you go to yours doctors or ring them and let them know about your mucus being green as a sign of infection, I am not a doctor or anything, I am a member of the forum that is all, but yes please go to your doctor,s instead of waiting most people with Copd and emphysema like me knows this could be a infection. Please let us know how you get on.X

      1. Hi, how are you doing? Did you get a chance to go to your doctor to get checked out? Whatever you're dealing with, it sure sounds unpleasant and I hope you can get it resolved ASAP! Keep us posted. -Melissa, copd.net team

        1. Please go to the Dr. It sounds like Bronchitis. I used to get this at least 3 times a year. After I quit smoking a number of years ago, I haven't gotten sick with it. I am not a Dr, but please get checked. I ended up with pneumonia several times because I put it off.
