Plumonary rehab

Im waiting to hear from the plumonary rehab team that have to contact me to get the ball rolling so to speak. Im actually looking forward to getting involved with them after reading sone of the posts and advice thats written here. If anything it can only shine a light on the darkness that my diagnosis has given me.

  1. Me too Keith. I was recently diagnosed 3 weeks ago, I was devastated to say the least, but I'm going to go into this eyes wide open and a ton of determination to do what's best for me with my diagnosis. I'm anxious to start my pulmonary rehab. Please keep us updated. Warmest regards, Susan

    1. Honestly, you are starting off with your best foot forward! Information is so powerful, and having the right attitude along with an understanding of COPD can make a real difference. I wish you nothing but the best, Susan! Your determination is a big encouragement here. -Melissa, copd.net team

  2. Hi again, - thanks for sharing this with the community. You and I have spoken earlier on another post you created elsewhere, here on our COPD.net platform. For ease of reference, here is a link to that conversation: https://copd.net/members/communitymember8578037/status/131712. I do hope you have an opportunity to review it when time permits.
I can tell you from professional experience, that pulmonary rehabilitation programs are one of the best approaches for managing COPD. I thought you might gain some additional insight from any of these articles, which focus on these types of programs - perhaps you've seen some of them already: https://copd.net/search?s=pulmonary%20rehabilitation%20overview. I do hope you find the information to still be practical.
Please do check back and let us know how this all turns out for you - we have a genuine concern for your good health!
    All the best,
    Leon (site moderator COPD.net)
