Injection
My mum passed away 3 weeks ago with copd she had gotten worse and it was endstage but I didn't realise it would be so soon , after a bad few nights not tolerating the nippy she was given a injection, I wasn't there when this happened I arrived a few minutes later but my mum never woke from this and got the driver in a few hours later does anyone know what the first injection would of been, I'm just heartbroken
Hi magpie19 and first, let me say how sorry I am for the loss of your mother. Please accept my condolences and extend them to your family as well.
It is virtually impossible for us to discern what sort of injection was given to your mom during her hospital stay. You may want to reach out to the doctor(s) providing care to her - they should be able to provide you with whatever information you want to know. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.

Leon (site moderator)Thank you, I was actually thinking of asking our own doctor, my mum was great during the day although I did see a change when she tried to walk etc her oxygen would drop and they did tell us it was endstage but I honestly didn't think when I left her at 2am with my sister doing a crossword that the next time I would see her she would be unconscious to die 24 later, I'm sorry for off loading I'm just finding it very hard

We hear you, magpie19 and understand exactly what you are going through. It takes time to heal from the loss of a parent - the loss stays with us for a lifetime. I believe they do live on through our good works in life.
