herbal spray

im thinking og using the south moon herbal spray cleansing lung is it safe to use and does it work

  1. Broadway12,
I have a saying I always follow. It goes like this, " If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is." Not to rain on your parade, but I have tried so many herbal remedies over the years for all kinds of things. Sometimes they work, but most times it is just a waste of money. I would talk to my pulmonologist first before buying or taking anything advertised on the internet as a miracle discovery. Seems to me if it really was that good, big pharma would have already jumped on the bandwagon and made it their own. Try it if you think it would help you, because you just never know. I, myself, would not. Just my two cents. Take care and God Bless!

      1. Hi Broadway, I have been following this conversation from when you first posted it yesterday. I see our good community member (), and my colleague (), have already responded to your concerns and I agree with what they've said.
I also have something to contribute. There are several breathing strategies (exercises), that you can certainly use to help with your breathing. I thought it might be helpful for you to begin with this article (published right here on COPD.net), which explains several of them: https://copd.net/living-with-copd/breathing-strategies. I do hope you find the information is helpful in a practical way.
        All the best,

      2. Hi there Broadway12 I would just like to say,I had a ct scan and that showed up my copd,I am a member here not a doctor or anything but maybe you could get one done and find out more and what stage you are at.X

    2. Getting a doctor to tell you your stage of COPD is nearly impossible. It is a number the doctors need but you let that go for now.
Habexa frank talk with your doctor and be brutally honest. You have the right to shop around and find another doctor if you don't get the answers you seek.
Ask about medications and ask if you feel you need a change. I would suggest starting a journal and writing your symptoms on a day to day basis. This makes you more aware of how thing change and help you explain to the doctor. Ask him for a referal to Respitory Rehab to get you started on the right exercise plan. Many of the programs have a virutal component. Hope this helps because you and only can advocate for yourself. Wishing you the best. Barbara Moore (moderator)
