Diet

I'm looking for foods that I should avoid with COPD.

  1. Hi , If you haven't already, I would speak to your doctor about what they recommend for you to eat or not eat, but we do have a few articles on nutrition and COPD that you may find helpful: https://copd.net/living/friendly-foods https://copd.net/living/food-choices All the best, Sam S. 1. My doctor told me to reduce fluid intake.
      My hobby is brewing beer.
Well, actually, my hobby is drinking beer,
      brewing just supports my hobby.

I cut back and lost a bunch of weight.

Also, I replaced salt with a mix of
90% potassium chloride and 10% citric acid.
      (ask your doctor first)

      1. I/m new at it, but the one thing I've learned so far is to avoid foods that contribute to inflammation. I replace the white sugar in my coffee with raw sugar. But I can't give up my Half & Half, so that's all I can do there. Apparently a lot of dairy causes inflammation, and there are other common foods too, but that's all I know so far. Working on it. Possibly rice and pasta. But I love rice and pasta. Aargh!!!
