Walking into a business or home with air fresheners going takes my breath away. I have to leave immediately.

I wish the world would understand that when you can't breathe nothing else matters. I will be struggling to catch my breath and people continue to talk to me about everything and anything, asking me questions about what I think about something in the news, etc. I'm on oxygen 24/7 and people still don't "get it" that I can't breathe sometimes and need time to catch my breath. They will continue to walk quickly and chatter on about everything under the sun. Instead of "Do you need a minute? I'll wait." they just go right on as if someone isn't struggling to stay alive right in front of them.

 Tis the way with so many. They do not have COPD, nor know anyone that does. I keep running into those that are the worlds experts! They know exactly what I am doing and just Yep KNOW what I need to be doing. Yep, jist asks dem! Big Tom

I have copd it's horrible some good sometimes bad now I am sick 😫

The swings between good and bad days can be tough to navigate. Going through a period of being sick is always challenging. Has you doctor prescribed any treatments to help you manage the current sickness/flare? Some of you out there might not care for this comment but to you I say, too bad, for you! When I was diagnosed with COPD I was already in stage 3, I read as much as I could about it. Realizing that there was nothing that I could do about it other than follow the Dr's directions so to speak I simply gave it to God. He's got it, He makes my really bad days easier, my ok days a little better. When I do too much, which I often try to do He just shuts me down and I get really short of breath and have to stop. By the way I was diagnosed in 2013, well past all the numbers for stage 3. God's got it. Tom

 You got it right Tom. Same here. I was ready to give up at first, but my faith took over. I've done really well with COPD/ Asthma aka ACOS. When we are weak, He is strong.

 Personal opinion, I feel as though not enough folks on here do not give thanks(credit) to the One we should be thanking. Maybe that's why we call him our Savior. Ok I am done.
