Hi all -
I am 51, my name is Steve and I live in Westport.
Back in the day I ran Irish Pubs with my father and mother's families. Real good drinking dens where we catered for the guys who just put in a shift. In those days you could smoke and unfortunately over the years I contracted COPD. It's affected me big time since going down with the condition - hospital twice, steroids constantly, and of course nebulizer.
I guess we have to be thankful for small mercies as I am not on oxygen yet. We all owe it to ourselves to do and find out as much about this rotten disease to help each other.
