It’s been hard

My name is Stephanie I’m a 57 yr old female. I was diagnosed about 7 yrs ago.

The first few years

I went thru the first few years with MASSIVE crippling headaches and the medical community had no answers for me. I would suffer them until I was finally out of it and in the hospital for days. This happened many times until I finally figured out for myself that my oxygen levels were dropping and my body was full of co2 instead. Only then was I able to begin managing my disease.

How I am managing

I am on oxygen as needed during the day and at night I sleep with a trilogy at night with my oxygen and it has been a lifesaver for me. It has made all the difference in the world and I thank God for that machine. As with everyone my disease progresses daily and I’m really afraid that I won’t be able to watch my grandchildren grow. Thanks for accepting me to this group. The stories do help that’s why I posted mine.
