I'm fine thanks

Hello. I got so fed up with explaining to friends and some family how I was feeling that I just say, I'm fine thanks. My wife doesn't have to ask me, she knows as do my sons and daughter.

I just want to add that when I was in the hospital last year I made a vow that if I got out ok I was going to get in touch with some of my old mates - which I did!

Four of us who went everywhere together as youngsters are going out for a meal, all of us in our late 60s and all of us sick: one has cancer, one has had a stroke, one a heart problem, and me with COPD - but we are still out there fighting for some sort of normality. What a sight we must look! I dare anyone to ask how we are. They will never get away, lol.

helo everyone, I'm just back from meeting up with 3 old mates and wifes,first time we have all been together for over 40 years. as I said before.. after my lung op and told I have emphersyma,last year this trip was on my bucket list. I have to tell you we had a great time, I had forgotten that we had an old van{truck} in the sixties and we told people we were a pop group, girls used to write on the side of our van with lipstick yet not one of us could sing or play any instraments, lol please please if your are able get out and have some fun. and if you cant get out just phone or email some old friends its a very good tonic wally
