"Feeling confused, angry and hot. Almost every night I have a low grade fever, but Doc put me on 30 days antibiotics, as well as a stronger 7 day plus prednisone. My friend Bruce is supposed to go see about cochlear implants next week, but we have been kind of stranded with our flooding. Livingston Texas. Not sure if we can make the 70 mile trip due to the highway being closed. I have caught Bruce in a lie. He told his niece I was running around in a panic looking for power for my oxygen. He has never been in a weather emergency, and I have been in many. I also had to charge my phone as our power went out. I know how to prep for hurricanes, tornados etc. He also seems to ignore my questions or conversations with him. He sleeps till noon, then naps for 2 or 3 hours. I spend my time just sitting watching a movie or something. I feel like I am on my own, even with him next door. I told him If we go to Oregon, I was not coming back. He wants to stay up there with me. I dont want him there. He has our small piece of property with his garden hobby and a few friends. He knows no one in Oregon anymore. I also know no one, but it is where I want to go to so I can die in a place I love. Sorry for ranting, but I have no one to talk to here. If his 2 appointments get cancelled, then I will tell him I cant stay in the Texas heat and am leaving. I cannot be his Mom anymore. I did tell him I would take care of the bills etc, through a joint account. When I have used my half, he will have to put on big boy pants and do his own thing. I have spoken to strangers about my situation, and they all say, take care of myself. I am finally realizing this. Thanks for listening again."
